Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds (RedLAC)

The Regional Group on Risks, Emergencies and Disasters for Latin America and the Caribbean (REDLAC) (Grupo Regional sobre Riesgos, Emergencias y Desastres para América Latina y el Caribe), established in 2003, is a regional coordination platform for preparedness and response to disasters, which emerged as a way to boost understanding and joint analysis and the approach from the regional level to the global level and the national level.[1] See also: OCHA

The Latin American and Caribbean Network of Environmental Funds (RedLAC) (Red de Fondos Ambientales de Latinoamérica y el Caribe), established in 1999, promotes the interrelationships of Environmental Funds in the LAC region through capacity building and knowledge management initiatives that contribute to biodiversity conservation and sustainable development.[2]
