IHME
Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation (IHME) is an independent population health research center at the University of Washington that provides measurements of the world's most important health problems and evaluates the strategies used to address them. The information is freely available for policymakers to make informed decisions about how to allocate resources to improve population health.[1]

The Country Profiles[2] provide a valuable overview of findings from the Global Burden of Disease (GBD). These profiles are freely downloaded and distributed.
