HISP
Health Information Systems Programme

HISP is a Health Information Systems Programme at the University of Oslo, Norway.[1]

The HISP movement is a global movement to strengthen Health Information Systems in Developing countries. It started in South Africa in the 1990's. The University of Oslo hosts the core DHIS2 software development team and is one of the leading organisations in this movement, also providing in-country capacity building and implementation support, research, as well as a PhD programme.

In supporting the global HISP movement and promoting the DHIS2 software as a global public good, HISP at the University of Oslo collaborates with a range of different organizations.[2]
